The following are the requirements for OBA Production Awards:

Please send a copy of the nominated doe’s individual DHIA record (doe/cow page) for lactations beginning January 1, 2003 & completed by March 31, 2004 to the Swiss Belle Chair.

These awards are open to any Purebred, American, Recorded Grade & Experimental Oberhasli, owned by members of the Oberhasli Breeders of America.

Entry fee $2.00 per animal for both weights and components (even if different levels), made payable to OBA.

Make additional copies as needed of the form or send on-line.

Certificates will be awarded and results forwarded to the dairy goat publications.

DEADLINE for Entries is April 1, 2005 (postmark)

LIFETIME PRODUCTION AWARD (1 time award) Any number of lactations 8000 lbs. milk & 300 lbs. butterfat OR 8000 lbs. milk & 250 lbs. protein

PLATINUM BELLE Milk: 3200 lbs.; Butterfat: 120 lbs. or Protein: 100 lbs.

GOLD BELLE Milk: 2600 lbs.; Butterfat: 100 lbs. or Protein: 80 lbs.

SILVER BELLE Milk: 2100 lbs.; Butterfat: 90 lbs. or Protein: 70 lbs.

COPPER BELLE Does freshening at 1-06 or less with Milk: 1600 - 2099 lbs.; Butterfat: 60 - 89 lbs. or Protein: 50 - 69 lbs.

BRONZE BELLE Does 6 years and over with Milk: 1800 - 2099 lbs.; Butterfat: 70 – 89 lbs. or Protein: 60 - 69 lbs.

MINI BELLE CERTIFICATE One day point total = 21 points minimum. Must be from an Official ADGA or AGS One-Day Competition

DIAMOND BELLE(1 time award) GCH-ADGA, MCH-AGS & a GOLD or PLATINUM BELLE AWARD

SILVER SIRE AWARD Herd sire with at least 3 daughters qualifying for SILVER BELLES

DIAMOND SIRE AWARD Herd sire with at least three (3) daughters qualifying for GOLD, PLATINUM or DIAMOND BELLES

To apply, send doe sheet and include Doe or Buck full registration name, sire and dam name, owner and breeder name, owner’s address, telephone and e-mail or fax number.

If a sire award, list name of qualifying daughters.
