As part of the membership benefits, OBA members receive five newsletter issues throughout the year. Each issue keeps you updated on upcoming events and deadlines in the OBA. Articles vary from exploration of the history of the Oberhasli breed to insights on better goat management to fun stores about particular Oberhaslis or the people that raise them. As they become available, committees will publish reports on progress on various programs in the works.

The editor, Rachel Anderson does an excellent job and puts out a quality newsletter. We appreciate all the hard work she puts in.

Submissions for the next Newsletter are due June 15th! Please get your advertisements/articles/photos in ASAP. The special Buck Issue is due June 30. This issue is done for the National Show and allows for maximum exposure as breeders are gearing up for the impeding breeding season.

Advertising Rates for the OBA Newsletter are:

Breeders Listing $10.00/year
Business Card (Eight Page Ad) $4.00 per issue or $15/year
Quarter Page Ad $7 single issue or $5.00 each for two or more
Half Page Ad $12 single issue or $9.00 each for two or more
Full Page Ad $20 single issue or $15 each for two or more
Cover- Color Photo & Article $35.00
Classified Ads $0.10/word single issue or $0.08/word for two or more submissions
Ads can be submitted by email or regular mail. Material must be RECEIVED by the deadline to be printed in the corresponding issue
Please send all monies to the Secretary/Treasurer. All ads must be paid in full prior to being included in the newsletter. Make checks/money orders payable to the OBA. We are working on Paypal payment options, check back soon about this option.
